I have no idea how to approach this:At some temperature, K = 232 for the gas phase reaction H2 + F2 2HF What is the concentration of HF in an equilibrium mixture established by adding 2.16 mol each of H2 and F2 to a 1.00 L container at this temperature? [HF] = XXWhat would be the equilibrium concentration of HF if 3.06 mol HF were removed from the above equilibrium mixture? I got the first answer, but I have no idea how to approach the 2nd part. Do I assume the 3.06 is taken away at the final or do I start out with the new M as my initial?

If I study anything in graduate school, it's definitely going to involve equilibrium and what it takes to get there. This part of thermodynamics is the heat.
