Who's the guy in the NBA who had that horrible knee injury yesterday? Also, sportscenter didn't show the clip of it happening, does anyone have it?
2/28/2007 1:01:14 PM
youtube has it. search "shaun livingston"
2/28/2007 1:06:31 PM
shaun livingston...went straight to the NBA instead of going to Duke
2/28/2007 1:06:38 PM
shaun livingstondid the same thing to the other knee last year
2/28/2007 1:06:41 PM
he would still be the best PG on our team? just messin, sucks for the dude. he may be done.
2/28/2007 1:11:19 PM
haha, that was a great 3 responses within 10 seconds
2/28/2007 1:11:20 PM
And he sucks, he missed the layup... and that was before he landed....just kidding, looks like his career is done
2/28/2007 1:14:46 PM
i was listening to the game on the radio when it happened and they had a microphone at court level...man he was just screaming in pain...did not sound good...i dunno how bad it actually is though...later that night they literally 'popped it back into place'
2/28/2007 1:23:42 PM
2/28/2007 1:28:39 PM
i will never watch that clip again...but thanks for the embed
2/28/2007 1:30:18 PM
god, that guys been plagued with injuries
2/28/2007 1:31:52 PM
that's really not all that bad to watchi think breaks are much worse to watchat least you're supposed to bend at the knee. not that grotesquely, but still.a leg snapping is much, much worse IMO [Edited on February 28, 2007 at 1:33 PM. Reason : .,]
2/28/2007 1:31:54 PM
in all honesty it's pretty bad
2/28/2007 1:33:25 PM
yea, this doesnt really bother me, i will agree with bone breaks...i hate seein someone put their arm down to catch themselves and then seeing it break
2/28/2007 1:35:34 PM
in the 90's when that guy slid into 2nd base late and popped over the bag as a result and had his leg break and poke 6 inches out of place showing through his pants was more gross.
2/28/2007 1:45:48 PM
i remember cringing at mcgahee's knee in the 03' fiesta bowl (Miami vs Ohio State)this one was bad for me because I literally heard him screaming in pain for 20 seconds on the radio right as it happened
2/28/2007 1:46:01 PM
didn't culpepper tear all 3 ligs too?
2/28/2007 1:47:00 PM
That is terrible...I feel so badly for him....I think that's SEASON OVER
2/28/2007 1:47:03 PM
be cool, stay in school
2/28/2007 1:48:01 PM
2/28/2007 1:55:39 PM
could be 2 seasons over, if not career
2/28/2007 1:56:38 PM
Reason #1 why they should get a college degree.Have fun working at McDonald's on a gimp leg.
2/28/2007 2:04:50 PM
yeah the NBA doesn't have any type of benefits and he isn't already due millions
2/28/2007 2:08:13 PM
^^even if he had gone to Duke I'd imagine it wouldnt have been for more than a season or two...ie even if he had gone to college he probably wouldve gone pro before getting his degree...but I hear your point and think all players should go to college
2/28/2007 2:17:20 PM
That sucks for Livingston. That had a pretty good article about him in ESPN the Mag a few months back. He never lived up to his potential and with this injury, he probably never will. That was a sick video though
2/28/2007 2:28:17 PM
2/28/2007 2:35:15 PM
What if he's done that as a freshman at Duke? No NBA. K would have yanked his scholly. Would have flunked out b/c he couldn't have majored in history of ACC basketball with the rest of the team.
2/28/2007 2:53:45 PM
2/28/2007 2:57:55 PM
^^ That's a good point
2/28/2007 2:59:46 PM
^^You think a guy who ended his basketball career as a freshman with a knee injury would have kept his scholly for 4 years? Has that ever been done anywhere?[Edited on February 28, 2007 at 3:02 PM. Reason : ^^]
2/28/2007 3:01:46 PM
Guys who suffer bad injuries as freshmen often get forced out of the program in one way or another and end up transferring to a school in a weaker conference.
2/28/2007 3:09:41 PM
Thanks for clarifying my point. No school would let a guy sit on his ass for 4 years with a career ending injury.
2/28/2007 3:12:14 PM
lol unless youre ilian evtimov and its nc state
2/28/2007 3:16:09 PM
2/28/2007 3:55:13 PM
if you people are disgusted by that, try watching the theisman clip
2/28/2007 4:08:31 PM
Its spelled "Heisman" n00b.
2/28/2007 4:13:26 PM
^^^^I hope thats a joke.
2/28/2007 4:20:21 PM
joe theisman, noob. much more painful looking injury to watch.
2/28/2007 4:23:12 PM
i hope i just missed TheOffice's sarcasm on that one
2/28/2007 4:42:17 PM
You did.
2/28/2007 5:38:08 PM
^^that same phrase could be uttered by someone who didnt understand some of the humor of the popular NBC sitcom
2/28/2007 5:39:28 PM
2/28/2007 5:52:32 PM
wow, i saw it on the replay and it looked terrible, i hate it for himthat might be career ending
2/28/2007 6:34:23 PM
yeah we were watching when it happened, it was brutalthe trainers came out and put a towel over his knee straightaway so nobody could see it
2/28/2007 6:37:25 PM
that youtube clip is killing me
2/28/2007 6:43:11 PM
