I am taking PE 108 and he said we have to come dressed in the red shorts and shirt that all those PE classes make you wear. Where do you get these from? Can you just buy your own red shorts and get one of those shirts or what? This is me first PE class, so I would like to know what you all have done. Thanks

you can rent them...alot of people wear their own red shorts and rent the tshirt. you just have to take your id downstairs in carmichael and they'll hook you up

With your ID you get them at the gym - you have to return them at the end of the semester or they charge you and then you can keep them. You can either return them back to the desk after each class and then pick up a new set the next class (they do the washing) or just wash them yourself. Most classes don't mind if you wear your own black or red shorts but they're fussy about the PE shirts - you have to wear theirs.

I bought a PE shirt at the bookstore (don't remember how much, but it wasn't expensive) and wore it because my roommate used the rented shirts and they were always really thin -- but that's just my own experience.

i never wore them. I wore the shirt and a pair of gym/basketball shorts (black, red, white or some variation thereof). 2 PE's, same deal, they never said anything. Once you check out the shirt you don't have to return it until the end of the semester, if you don't return it they charge your account like 5 bucks or something. I've always just kept them.
