Anywhere in Raleigh that we can pick up Mexican bottled Coca-Cola? (the kind with sugar and not corn syrup)

Don't know, but if you find some post it here. High fructose corn syrup =

There's a Mexican market on North Market Drive you may want to try (off of Old Wake Forest Road, near Wake Forest Road).

^^ They have soda made with cane sugar at Whole Foods (their house brand). It's really good. The Black Cherry Soda is really good too, but the Ginger Ale is terrible.

I know Dr Pepper operates one bottling plant in TX that still uses the original cane sugar recipe. They also use the original very old bottles.

That explains a lot. I got a glass bottle of cheerwine one time at The Penguin restaurant in Charlotte. Didn't like it as much as canned cheerwine and couldn't figure out why.

I also agree that HFCS = GROSS ASS SHIT

I don't eat or drink anything with it in there anymore.

Also, Target has a brand of "Italian Soda" that is made with sugar; the Blood Orange is the fucking shit.

You might try the Farmer's Market. I've picked up Cheerwine in the bottles w/ real sugar there.

I got some weird tasting Coke in the Bahamas. I think it was partially the desalinized water, part sugar.

That's one of the best reasons to go to The Penguin. That, and onion rings.

I've had the Dr. Pepper with cane sugar, and it tastes drastically different, and not nearly as sweet.
