I am putting up my Jeep for sale because I need a car with better MPG now that I work a Co-op in RTP, and I live in an apartment now so I dont need a Jeep to haul all my stuff around anymore. I have it listed for 10500$ on Autotrader and Craigslist, BUT if I find an interested person with a firm offer I will let it go for less. It has 92800 miles on it.Autotrader - http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=218054764&dealer_id=59615931&car_year=2000&model=JEEPGRAND&num_records=25&make2=&start_year=2000&keywordsfyc=&keywordsrep=&engine=&certified=&body_code=0&fuel=&search_type=both&distance=25&make=JEEP&color=&min_price=10000&drive=&default_sort=priceDESC&max_mileage=&style_flag=1&sort_type=priceDESC&address=27606&advanced=&end_year=2001&doors=&transmission=&max_price=11000&cardist=0Features :- 4.7L V8 with 235HP and 295 lb-ft torque- Quadra Drive (all time 4WD)- New Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo Tires- Automatic Transmission- Power Everything- Premium Black Leather Seats- Sunroof (needs new sunroof motor)- 10-disc CD changer- Premium Infinity Sound System- Trailer/Tow packageNew Parts :- New brake rotors, brake pads, and calipers (all less then 10,000 miles on them)- New All Terrain Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo tires (highest rated SUV tire)- New cooling fan- Recent engine tune-up, fuel injection cleaned, brake check, and transmission maintenance (new filters and fluid) I know this is the wolf web, and stuff doesnt get sold for the price you want it, but I thought I would give an NCSU student a chance to take my Jeep off my hands and enjoy it. What kind of mileage are you getting right now?

^An older SUV with a V8, I'd say he'd be lucky to get 20mpg.

Well since I only really drive in rush hour on I-40 right now, I get about 16 MPG. When its normal everyday driving (open roads and highway), I can get around 19-22. Youre right though, these older V8's arent the best on gas. They dont have the cool "shutoff" capability like the newer SUV's/trucks
