What does that mean besides it being deemed totaled by the insurance company?http://richmond.craigslist.org/mcy/280912861.html

yep, the damage was to the point it wasn't worth fixing. whoever totalled it obviously bought it back from the insurance company, and repaired it. you need to be very careful with salvage bikes, they can have alot of hidden damage (bent forks, frame, etc.)that's also too much money for a 10 year old salvage bike.

ok that works!!! Damn I could have sworn these bikes were cheaper in the fall

salvage titles, because it was officially in a wreck but doesn't explain what happend to it, will always be of lower resale value. Not only that but when you go to rebuild salvage title bikes, they are a pain in the ass to do. As long as it has a NC rebuilt status for the salvage bike, you can transfer title status easily. The F3 and F2 are very similar. Only difference is the minor cosmetic changes and ram air intake. fyi, I got my f2 in mint condition for 2500 2 years ago...

2500 was private value 2 yrs ago... Your gixxer was newer then my f2. I'm just sick and tired of craiglist ppl overly pricing pos bikes by using kbb's retail and not private seller value... YOU'RE NOT A FUCKING DEALER SO DON'T PRICE IT AS SUCH!!! morons...
