how hard is it to do alone?.... i took the two bolts out of the brake and the thing wouldnt budge

you're obviously not well endowed (with a large hammer)


never done them before, wheel bearings have to come out maybe?

yea, i have a picture hanger for a hammer.... ill just wait til i have access to a larger hammer.... and a helping hand

doing it for the first time and alone has never worked for anyone i imagine

i'd imagine they're pretty similar to a YJ. it's pretty easy. nothing nonstandard that i can remember.

sometimes the caliper can be a little stiff. a large scredriver or something can help pry it off, or simply rocking it back and forth.

do you know what to do after that or do you need those intructions also?

xj's have unit bearing hubs. don't have to mess with those at all for any brake work.

Don't be like me and forget to take the parking brake off when changing the rear discs on my WJ.

yea, the caliper is stiff as a mother fucker.... i couldnt get it off earlier

is it just those two bolts that need to come off or is there something else involved in getting it off?

do not do brakes on your car for the first time. "if your car doesnt start, not a big problem. if you cant stop your car, thats a big problem"
