Okay, so I had a simple soldering point break on an important piece of equipment and I'm going to have to redo it myself in the next couple of hours. I don't really want to pay somebody to come out and repair this, since it should be simple. The job: I have to solder three wires to one of those little clip things that clips onto a screw on an audio component. Sounds ridiculously simple, and I don't expect I'll have any troubles, but I've never done any real soldering before, so I thought I'd ask if there's anything I should know. I've got two RCA wires with the plug on one end and tinned wire on the other. And a shitty little soldering kit. Any advice?

Never mind, it's taken care of.Pretty easy, as expected. It's kind of fugly, but ain't nobody gotta look at it.
