I have some friends coming from out of the country on Sunday and they want to do some crap around town. Museums are open until 5 but most stuff in the Bible Belt closes at 6. Anything interesting to do in the area on this sunday? Sports, etc. are fine too as long as they're not too expensive.

don't think taking a foreigner to a southern baptist church is the way to make them enjoy their time in America.

Yeah I vote church too.

My wife & I went to a Hawaiian style church while in Kona on our honeymoon just to experience the culture...good times.

Look up the hours for the arboretum. It's badass all year.

The hours for the arboretum don't really matter. You can slip past the gate pretty easily. I've taken dates in there at 1am with no problems.

you could always bring them to TWW; it's open 24 hours.

[Edited on February 20, 2007 at 11:38 PM. Reason : please don't bring them if they're french]

There's no roller derby this month or I'd suggest that.

*sigh*

Go to Napper Tandy's--you can get a relatively private table, talk, order some reasonably priced food, and alcohol is available, if you want it.

If you really wanted to experience the culture of Hawaii, you should have gone to Ewa on Oahu and visited the meth labs.
