Supposedly from Andy Rooney a few weeks back, but I couldn't find the link. If it was him that said it, kudos to CBS for not bowing to PC assholes. I searched and I didn't see any other posts on this.

How fucking stupid do you have to be? I mean, seriously.Even if you hadn't seen it or anything like it before, were unable to figure it out yourself, googling the first line comes up with a million hits that explain it's fake.

old as dirt but pretty much true

I think my grandma got this forwarded to her in an email from Moses.

2/15/2007 3:59:57 PM
probably some right week conservative nut job that is afraid of losing his sense of power in a country that is evolving so he wrote what down all his irrational fears he thought and then posted it with rooney's name so that he would actually have some clout. thats just a shot in the dark.
2/15/2007 4:02:34 PM
How could anyone think they could pass that off as Rooney?
2/15/2007 4:14:06 PM
I have seen about the same messages attributed to George Cariln.

Here's something Andy Rooney really did say:

In all honesty, you could put a "Agree or disagree?" at the end of that email and have a perfect litmus test for the formal operational stage of cognitive development.
2/15/2007 6:45:48 PM
well... some of it is pretty retarded, some of it has a point but this guy is entitled to his opinion as far as I'm concerned
2/15/2007 6:56:17 PM
oldfakei technically agree with about 2/3 to 3/4 of it, but would doubtlessly consider anyone who actually wrote this a complete imbecile.
2/15/2007 7:16:49 PM
It has parts which are related in nature to well-thought-out ideas, but nothing put forward in the thing itself appears to be thought-out at all. Some of the lines feebly reach towards status as "ideas," but almost invariably fall short.
2/15/2007 10:55:03 PM
yeah, that's kinda what i was getting at. whoever wrote is was right about 2/3-3/4 of it, but only by pure dumb luck, and despite his lack of astuteness and intelligence.
2/16/2007 7:40:59 AM
hmm...i dont really see a problem with that...i think whoever wrote that is like 95% right ....
2/16/2007 8:05:22 AM
Like I said, a perfect litmus test for the formal operational stage of cognitive development.

a bunch of narrow minded, narrowly-construed bullshit that dimwitted republican cronies love to repeat.
