I had an old Compaq desktop that just died on me, and I'm pretty sure it was the motherboard. Seeing at though this monster is 6 years old now I went out and got me a laptop. Now I want to extract some of my data off the old hard drive.I took it out and hooked it up to my friend's computer, but I can't access my documents folder because I encrypted it with Windows. No spectacular encryption, just the basic stuff XP offers. Is there any program or command I can use to decrypt it so I can get my files off it? I tried using cipher.exe but I'm either not using it right or it isn't doing the trick.I'd appreciate any help, because I've got about 5 years worth of pictures on it.Thanks
