is there a s/w that allows you to burn Itunes music to be playable in my car? It's not letting me convert to mp3.

Doesn't iTunes have this function? Anyway, this is why I don't use iTunes or purchase DRMed music.

umm, yeah - you just hit burn. It won't convert it to MP3 - it will convert it to WAV, the normal CD format that's playable in every CD player ever made....

it's saying something about being protected.....are u saying once on cd, i can rip it off as an mp3 and mix more cds out of it?

burn it to cd then rip it back to the computer or just download a program that gets around that m4p shit. Google is your friend.

^^ that's exactly what i'm saying. 1) you can burn 74 minutes of music straight to a music CD that will play in any normal CD player.2) if you want, you can re-rip that CD back in iTunes into unprotected MP3s that you can do anything you want with.

I like how 75% of these iTunes threads ask questions about built-in functionality, like it takes some kind of uber-1337 hacker to figure this stuff out. I mean, even Apple can't dumb it down much further. At some point, you guys need to become functional members of a computer-saavy society.

You can't get much easier than that.
