I have a MS Intellimouse Explorer 5

It's shitting out on me.

does this thread still apply, or have things changed much since '05?

I want a corded mouse, just so I dont have to worry about lag or battery life. I'd also like a button configuration similar to what I've got. Any suggestions?

I'm looking at these right now:

Logitech MX 518

Logitech MX400

Razer Copperhead

the 518 and the razor make me feel like a sucker for buying a mouse with "Gaming Grade" in the label, but I'm open to suggestions.

meh, i really need a new mouse also but don't want to throw down 60 bucks on one.

sucks that radioshack is sold out of the mx610 for 59.99-50 rebate = 9.99

Woulda done the job for me... not the best mouse but for 10 bucks can't complain.
