who do you take? I think the Celtics oviously want Oden because he is a potentially paintdominating player but if you're the Bobcats and already have great paint presence would you take Durant?

He's tall but he plays outside a lot.

The key will be finding out if he can catch the ball off the entry pass.... or if they have to use a pick & roll to get him the ball.

Either way, they can't just hand it off to him.

Have you ever heard of Dirk Novitski? He's probably the 2nd best player in the NBA currently after Kobe.

Durant would be a tall SF in the NBA, like a much better version of Charlie Villanueva.

As far as this thread goes.. I'd be shocked if Oden wasn't 1st overall. People forget he is still playing lefthanded right now and that will only make him stronger down the line. The Bobcats MIGHT look at Durant but I'm not sure any other potential lottery team would pass up Oden..

Id take Oden #1 still just because he's a dominant defensive big man already.

Those just dont come around every day.


Durant is an awesomely talented offensive player and a damn good rebounder. He just sucks on defense.

Either way i dont think you can really go wrong. I'd probably prefer cheering fora Durant just because he's so much more polished offensively and more exciting.
