Ok, I thought it was supposed to be January. Then i searched and saw this thread:http://www.thewolfweb.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=427874saying that SG1 was cancelled. On scifi.com, when you click on SG1 it says April ... so this going to be the last season for SG1 and Atlantis keeps going ... which is screwy IMO. Anyone know why they pushed it back 3 months? And yes I have seasons 1-9 of SG-1

this is a continuation of the last season of SG-1, atlantis will continue on.both seasons are currently airing and will finish airing in canada and the UK before they ever start airing in april on sci-fi. torrents are your friend.

SG1 went downhill once Richard Dean Anderson left but it's still way better than AtlantisRodney is the only good thing about Atlantis
1/30/2007 11:09:05 PM
agree - just not the same w/o macgyveryeah, Rodney's quite amusing I considered downloading now that Dr. who's over and I don't have any amusement
1/30/2007 11:16:03 PM
^3 is the show more popular in the UK and Canada (I really don't get why they would get to see it before we do)

I have watched SG-1 over the last 6 months from NetFlix. Midway into Season 8 now. Hope to finish the damn seasons in time to catch 10 and Atlantis 3 on the tube.

^^ no, but i believe their respective stations share costs
1/31/2007 6:44:23 PM
anyone else get tired of waiting and just download the episodes from skyone?
2/18/2007 12:16:40 PM
so the final episode of SG-1 has aired... and it sucked ass
3/14/2007 8:34:59 PM
hahahaha, I didn't know it was the last episode when I watched it. I was thinking how much it fucking sucked ass and hoped the finale would be better.pwnt
3/14/2007 9:27:30 PM
Yeah, I was very disappointed with the last 5-6 episodes. Not really so much with their content, but just that they didn't feel like they were "winding up" the series, but just showing regular episodes. The final one definitely didn't have a finale feel to it at all. No conclusion to the overall story whatsoever. At least they left it open for there to be movies/crossover with Atlantis. But overall it just left me feeling meh. A 10 year run of a show deserves a much better sendoff than that.
3/15/2007 12:38:30 PM
the reason it sucked is because there are 2 or 3 straight to dvd movies coming out to finish out the serieshttp://www.gateworld.net/news/2006/10/istargate_sg-1i_movies_coming_to.shtml
3/15/2007 1:41:09 PM
I figured as much. Makes sense. And they deserve a good sendoff. As long as they're done properly.[Edited on March 15, 2007 at 1:46 PM. Reason : And by properly, I mean with Richard Dean Anderson.]
3/15/2007 1:45:50 PM
apparently it's a typical tv movie budget: aka, only slightly more than a regular ep.
3/15/2007 1:51:25 PM
I was a big SG-1 fan--but once I began watching Atlantis, I started liking it more. In addition, I don't see why a character such as, say, Teal'c couldn't and shouldn't have a recurring role on Atlantis.
3/15/2007 2:02:30 PM
^ he's making a guest appearance in season 4Amanda tapping is also becoming a regular on atlantis next seasonI know the movies are coming which is why they left it hanging, but from the spoilers i've seen about the movies they don't look great either. They just seriously fucked up though in the finale with what they did to the asgard, especially after seeing what improved asgard weapons were capable of. my question is are they going to give this asgard tech to the ships and personnel they have in atlantis, especially since the wraith are on the way out as the big baddy and the pegasus replicators are taking over
3/15/2007 3:19:02 PM
I didn't realize real people watched Atlantis. The only thing more retarded than the characters, writing, acting, plot, and production are the degenerate fans who keep it on TV.
3/15/2007 6:46:17 PM
eh, its not great but it has its moments
3/15/2007 8:29:54 PM
considering they got rid of the Scottish doctor...I won't be watching it as much
3/15/2007 9:13:15 PM
what are all the washed up scifi actors going to do without sg1?
3/15/2007 9:47:21 PM
some of the actors had jobs before scifi So wait, I just missed the final season of SG-1? FUCK!
3/15/2007 10:29:48 PM
It hasn't been shown on Sci-Fi, but it was shown on SkyOne in Britain. Get on the internets, find the torrents, and download.Or wait until it comes out on SciFi
3/15/2007 10:43:52 PM
anyone else watch the last 10 only to be really fucking dissappointed?
4/10/2007 5:31:26 PM
This show is still in fucking production? The movie back in the 90's was pretty bad ass but the TV show sucks. It has to be almost as dorky as Star Trek. I remember watching the first 2-3 seasons has a kid but the show got really redundant and stupid. I also discovered that there is much better stuff to do with my time and much better shows to watch.
4/10/2007 6:50:48 PM
It was on the air so long because Richard Dean Andeson and Michael Shanks made women wet in their panties. Fact[Edited on April 10, 2007 at 11:07 PM. Reason : sdf]

^ Doubtful, most of those are lesbians (not that there's anything wrong with that).SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!I just finished watching the last few episodes, and I found them surprisingly good, better than the past couple of episodes preceding them. They seemed to be more "lighthearted" where they didn't try to reach so hard to make plots coherent with the past story lines, and just had some fun. And they did more character-based plots than they normally do. And they also left room for it to come back (which I don't think is happening). It's kind of sad to see it go, but hopefully something better will come along to fill the shows (and Atlantis isn't it). I've been watching some Atlantis too though, and it's as bad as it has been (but still watchable).
