Any body ever heard of them? Its a Golden Retriever - Cocker Spaniel Mix. I've had one since i was little, but hes now 17 and getting old. He's been a great dog, and i would love to get another similar to him. We bought him for $5, from a neighbor in WV, but I can't find any that aren't from a breeder and cost less than about $750. Any one know of anyone else that has one, or anywhere I could get one in the triangle area. Here are some pics of my dog when he was 16: I had no clue they were called comfort retrievers until today when I started looking, I just thought I had a mutt.[Edited on January 30, 2007 at 5:41 PM. I adopted a little "comfort retreiver" as you call them from an animal shelter in High Point about six months ago. I'm actually glad I read this, I've been calling him a golden cock all along. These are some of the cutest dogs ever -- I can't believe more people don't have them. Wish I could help, but before now, I thought I was the only person alive to have a golden retriever/cocker spaniel dog.[Edited on January 31, 2007 at 12:34 AM. Reason : ]

here's a few pics of him. Since I'm retarded and can't figure out how to make pictures show up in any other form than those damn white boxes, I'll just post a webshots link.http://good-times.webshots.com/album/552729513yULsGA[Edited on January 31, 2007 at 12:58 AM. Reason : ]
