The SWPC will be doing a walk-in down both sides before the UNC game, pretty much the same thing as happened for the Duke game. It was originally an idea for the UNC game but sports marketing wanted it done for the Duke game first.

Anyways, I want suggestions or any feedback for what we might do differently this time. I know it wasn't perfect, it was far from that. Give criticism too, it wasn't my idea originally so it's not like I'm gonna take it personally

My job was to kick the boards, yell at the other teams players and coaches, and just be fucking loud. This is like a little parade to show how cool you are, but it only makes you look gay.

something like a WHITE OUT would be awesome. With the arena already having red accents everywhere, a White out would look good. As far as walking down into the stands, it's stupid. It wasn't advertised and the majority of the fans thought there were just a bunch of empty seats. If everyone would just get in earlier and go nuts during warm ups, maybe we can give ourselves a chance.


I wonder if someone can't organize a white out before the game saturday. Maybe the technician would be interested, or the N & O, or wral... Just like a 2 second blurb on the sports page maybe...

yea people really dont do that anymore, it pisses me off (see my thread about kicking the boards). the last two games we forgot lineup and ended up in the endzone and you can tell even more that nobody yells at the other team during timeouts anymore. if they dont move their chairs to halfcourt during timeouts, then you should give up your seats and move to the state bench side so loud people can sit there.

that said, the SWPC side is way louder in every way then any other part of the arena

as for the walkdown itself, when you got down there and tried to do the WOLF...PACK chant, you idiots went way too fast. It needs to be WOLF...WOLF...WOLF... to give the other side time to respond, you guys were going WOLF.WOLF.WOLF.

well I'm not advocating that this be done again, but like I said, it's not my choice and it is happening at least this one more time.

we still kick the boards the whole time in 118 behind the visiting bench, I'm not sure why the other sections lack on that...and most teams move out on the floor which is why the yelling at timeouts doesn't catch on.

and yeah, yelling at the people on the cell phones is probably one of my favorite things to do..I hope they give us those "brick" or "3" signs again because they work really good for rolling them up and yelling through them.

and for those of you extremely against the walk-in, it will be remembered and taken into consideration if and when the idea is brought up in the future...but it will happen on saturday so at least try and join in on the cheer

also, a doing a walk-in might work, but it could also be interpreted as "omg we are such awesome fans" when really only about half of the people in the swpc actually know what a basketball is. And it can also be seen as us thinking we are better than everyone else which would make us as gay as unc-ch

some of the fucking board members in swpc dont even get loud at games. And when I mean dont get loud, I mean they make no attempt at all to make noise. No clapping, no chanting, no OOOOOOOing, no nothing. One bitch sits there with her arms crossed. I heard her yell to gavin after a missed shot "YOU SUCK GAVIN" on the second play of the game.


I mean I agree with the bitch sometimes, but jesus, second play of the game? Yelling that at a game in general? give me a fucking break.


People with front row tickets that dont do a god damn thing, or people with good seats that still dont do a god damn thing....that makes up about 30 percent of the wolfpack club.

Now dont get me wrong, there are some loud mothers in that section for every game, and they probably cancel out the dumbasses, but there are too many people down there that dont deserve to be "recognized" for being good fans. But I'm against the whole walk in idea in the first place, so whatever.

I thought it looked good and the crowd was definitely louder when the students came walking in. It got the crowd into the beginning of the game.

I was like wtf at first because none of the swpc were in their section. Now I'll expect it. From where I sit for the games, it really looked awesome.
