moving to tampa and wondering if anyone here has lived or living in tampa can help recommend a place to live. 1bd 1 bth apartment or studio will work, preferably in a less challenging area.

i moved last august to st. petersburg to take a new job. i am still becoming familiar with tampa bay, but i could probably help you if you give a little more information.

1. buy or rent?
2. where will you be working? this makes a huge difference in terms of traffic.
3. what does less challenging mean? not in the hood?

how you like it so far? im open to either clearwater, st pete or tampa as long as no more than 25mins drive to work. Im told if living in st pete or clearwater, crossing the bridge/causeway can be a pain if there is a wreck along the way.
