Don't let whoever say they got an "A" fool you, that class is a bitch!! No, you don't have to go to class, but I would collaborate with someone for the tests, b/c believe me your brain will be FRIED when you get finished with those things. What a waste of time that class was, GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

1) you don't come away with anything
2) his test are ridiculous bc he likes to include several maybe answers with his exact answer so it is so confusing.
3) I don't understand why this class still exist especially if you have to cheat in this class or have to collaborate with others to get a good grade

I'm not saying the tests weren't difficult, though...because they definately were. It was tough as hell sometimes pick the "most correct" answer or whatever.

I only went to half the classes, and didnt collaborate with anyone -- except for my neighbor who i let cheat off me.

I got an A+. i think it was the only A+ i ever got at State.

I aint sayin the material is easy... but you can make your whole grade = 3 exams, where you get a full 24 hours to take them online with open-notes-everything

i mean, what the fuck more do you need???

if anyone got less than a B in that class they need to be slapped.

(FWIW, i aint braggin about the A+... i didnt learn shit other than "Professor Austin is not a dualist" im just sayin the class is freaking easy to get a good grade.)

We had a guy like that in my class. IIRC, he didn't do very well. Probably answered the questions with what he thought was right, not what Dr. Austin thought. I did well in there and spent like 3 hours on the tests going back through the readings to see what his position was on the subject. Since he wrote the readings, those were his opinions.

It just pisses me off when he sits there and fucking argues with dr. austin every single class period, and it's always about something stupid.
Today we were literally 30 seconds into it and he interrupts and spouts off some more stupid shit.

We also managed to discuss sadomasochism, incest, aliens, pedophiles, etc in class today. It was the biggest waste of my life ever.

edit: His unibrow is obnoxious, too. And he needs to learn how to fucking sit in a chair...he practically wallows in it....oh and he needs to cut his fingernails.

I bet it would be ridiculously easy if you actually read the material, but the material is so mind-numbingly dull and trite (IMO), it's hard to read.

From TWW, and other message boards, i've read TONS on evolution vs. creationism, and I don't feel I get anything from it. The mind/soul aspect doesn't intrigue me either, since the answer to that question is unanswerable and mostly inconsequential.

OTOH, most classes will have material that you think is useless or retarded, but you have to do it anyway, but that's life.
