this guy pwnt the hell out of rattlerryan in 2004
1/19/2007 1:02:56 PM
heh, I had him for CH 101 in Fall 03. Never really understood why everyone disliked the guy but maybe that's because I got an A+ in the class.
1/19/2007 1:07:15 PM
He does make his lectures much more interesting than a lot of profs, but I stilled failed
1/19/2007 1:20:02 PM
stilled failed
1/19/2007 1:35:42 PM
Consider yourself officially called out, you faggot.
1/19/2007 1:46:23 PM
He has a lot of old tests for Warren's class.
1/19/2007 7:07:12 PM
haha, that twas funny
1/19/2007 9:25:25 PM
I dont know why everyone disliked him so much. I hate Chemistry just as much as the next fella, but just b/c you aint doin good in the class doesnt mean you have to blame the prof
1/19/2007 9:32:42 PM
I rather enjoyed his classes. Damn, I wish I could go back to Freshman/Sophomore level classes. Back in those days classes were difficult enough to where I could fully understand the material AND enjoy it. CH 201, PY 208 (LOVED THIS CLASS, SHOULDA BEEN AN EE), CH 223, CHE 205 and 225, MA 241. Shit ain't like that no more.
1/19/2007 9:58:20 PM
^amen, I wish i was back in undergrad.
1/19/2007 10:54:22 PM
i like that the guy is into classics, ancient greek and roman stuff, which is a struggling academic field at our universityspeaking of Formicae is working at recreating the classics club that myself and a few others founded back in '05, so pm her if you're interested in joining or helping out
1/20/2007 6:06:31 PM
signed, that shit was funny.though i didnt enjoy his 201 class that much...either hes not much of a teacher or the subject material is really that shitty.
1/20/2007 6:43:01 PM
i had him for chem 101 my freshman year and BUSTED MY ASS to get a B+, but it ended up helping me in my other classes i thought he was a pretty good professor[Edited on January 23, 2007 at 9:02 PM. Reason : oh god the address is on]
1/23/2007 9:02:03 PM
i enjoyed him as a teacher. it seems like the rattlerryan drama was just yesterday
1/23/2007 9:27:10 PM
bttt

His classes weren't even that much work, just a few webassigns. Threads like the one rattlerryan made for GreatGazoo are pointless when you have instructors like Dr. P.K. Lim in the CHE dept who are 10x worse.
3/29/2007 9:37:41 PM
I liked it better when none of the n00bs knew who he was. TWW should collectively protect his identity to see how many people will willingly incriminate themselves.
3/29/2007 9:52:14 PM
^I 100% support that. It should become a new t-dub tradition; see how long the n00bs can go before learning GreatGazoo's identity. And I had him for ch201 back in the spring of '03. He did a decent job. I got a B-, but that's because I completely fucked up the last test and the final. Should have studied more, I suppose.[Edited on March 29, 2007 at 9:57 PM. Reason : blah]

wouldnt u want to know your teachers tww name?then that way if u need to ask him a question u know a easy way to reach him

For most normal people, E-Mail is more convenient and direct than a thread or PM on TWW.
3/30/2007 9:19:50 PM
What ^ said.
3/30/2007 10:19:54 PM
hard to believe that was three years ago eh? Seems just like yesterday. In retrospect, if I could go back and do things differently I obviously would. But I will admit it was a learning experience and I've grown as a person from the whole debacle. I guess in the long run that's what college is supposed to be all about, though people don't usually make public asses of themselves in the process.
3/31/2007 11:37:14 AM
anyone care to elaborate on this rattlerryan 'debacle'?
3/31/2007 12:16:40 PM
3/31/2007 3:25:35 PM
What are you talking about? You wish you knew your teacher's name on TWW so you could ask them a question? Don't you already know their name in real life?
3/31/2007 10:18:16 PM
u are missing the pointthe more avenues a teacher can reach a student and vice versa the better
3/31/2007 10:25:56 PM
I definitely missed the point. I just think you would be hard-pressed to argue that asking questions on TWW would be any more direct than E-Mail. I guess you do have the added benefit that others in the class could read it, provided it is in thread form.
4/1/2007 12:00:04 AM
have you not had professors before that were hard as shit to get a hold of? That's what he's talking about. And I think for a professor to have a TWW Q&A session in a thread maybe like once a week at a set time would be a great idea.
4/1/2007 10:13:07 AM
what is this some sort of drama?
8/28/2008 11:13:55 PM
he just posted a cool response in the thread below this
8/28/2008 11:16:28 PM
