i remember playing this one NASCAR game on playstation...Benn was the announcer...but you could put in some codes to get old cars like Benny's or Cale Yarborough...anyway, if Parson's car would get the lead, Parsons the announcer would be like "I'm, in the lead"

This guy was one of the few announcers I liked in NASCAR.He was a helluva driver if you follow NASCAR. His teams really had nothing and he still was one of the best. R.I.P. BP.

I met him five times when I was younger. Really nice guy, and autographed every single race program I had. His homeplace (Parsonsville, NC) is about 10 minutes from where I grew up (North Wilkesboro, NC). My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Wilkes County lost a true gentleman and a legend. God speed Benny!
