with a mini-usb cable and the software


you can probably get away with just the drivers, I downloaded the software though

it kills the phones battery to use a usb cable from a computer, the life isnt as long, i have a razr and 3 different batteries and tried it myself wen i heard about it

You can charge it from a USB port and all you need is the cable. No software, no drivers, and it's just fine for the battery. USB uses a standard voltage and that's what the phone uses. With the right connector, you could charge just about any USB device w/ a Motorola car charger and vice versa.
