While traveling this past weekend, I broke my favorite pair of sunglasses. They cost me more money than I care to admit, so I can't just throw them away and get new ones. It broke right at the hinge.

Has anyone had plastic frame repairs done locally and can vouche for the quality of the repair? I found some mail-in places, but I'd like to avoid paying the shipping.
