well, I for one am going to go for the Saints and Colts

if its the Bears vs. the Patriots in the super bowl I am not going to watch that shit

two of the three most annoying fanbases in the nfl (the steelers being the third)

the NFL is stupid

Ravens/Chargers would have been more interesting

as it stands now, the possibility of a Saints/Patriots super bowl would cause the media to apeshit

colts/patriots is roughly 300,000 times more "interesting" than chargers/ravens

whoever wins these games, the ratings for the superbowl will be good. These are all teams with big followings and some good storylines. I don't have a dog in the fight but I would not mind seeing yet another nfc south team in the superbowl.

i think both the colts and the pats should sign a contract saying they'll never play each other again

y'know, make this one a special match or something

OR

retirement game. Losing team has to retire: coach, players, and all.

Worst thread of the day

-The Saints are THE storybook team of the year

-NO ONE is tired of Peyton being in the super bowl

-The Patriots are a dynasty in a league of parity

-DA BEARS

The only way this could work better for the NFL is if vick or ditka were involved

Oh cry me a freaking river . Yes, it's sad that it happened but it happened almost 2 years ago. Move the fuck on. Do you hear the people in Colorado bitching about the natural disasters hurting them right now--people losing houses, etc. with all the snow? Or the Floridians every year when they get hit by hurricanes? No. It's because they prepare. They don't go bitching to the President, they get ready for it. It's not like you don't know when a hurricane is coming. I've been through one too.

It happened just over a year ago. Good people all throughout the Gulf Coast are STILL struggling for a number of reasons. It's not just "they depended on the government too much." Just ask anyone who had flood insurance. I'll give you my mom's contact info if you'd like, because you need to speak to someone going through this firsthand. She'll gladly, openly, and honestly give you perspective about this that you clearly haven't seen yet.

i guess you think franchies that are popular are annoying....but the nfl will enjoy having two of the most popular franchises in the big game (bears and patriots)

Unless you were using the screen name I replied to, I wasn't fucking talking to you.

Katrina was called the most destructive hurricane in recent memory for a reason. I remember Floyd dumping less than two feet of water in much of NC after hitting as a Category 2. Then I remember Katrina's high winds breaching levees on both ends of a bowl-shaped city and .... nevermind.

This if funny. Although, in someways it was more fun being a Patriots fan when they sucked and had just drafted Bledsoe. There just weren't as many haters back then.
