ok, i left a glass sitting on a red sheet of paper on my coffee tabletwo days later when i got back to the house, the paper had bled through and now there is a red stain on the surface. it isnt as though the paper pulled off and stuck to the table, its just the coloring that stainedideas for removing the red coloring without bleaching out the wood or anything?

oh is that how you would fix it?

Here is how I would fix it:Try and sand out the stain. If this works you got off easy and only have to refinish that spotHowever I doubt that will work so you are going to have to cut the offending piece of table out. If you have a router then I guess you could just rout out the area to prevent having to cut all the way through. After the area is removed cut another piece of wood in the shape of the removed area and glue it in. Refinish so that the table looks some what even.If you wanted the wood to match better I would say cut the piece out and flip it over. Then you might have a better chance of matching the pattern of the wood on the table.Or you can just deal with it.

a good furniture restorer will be able to get that out.they'll just spot treat.it's not really that bad.[Edited on January 12, 2007 at 6:34 PM. Reason : post a pic though.]

The bleach pen works WONDERS...as does Mr.Clean Magic Eraser. If you weren't out fucking girls until all hours of the night...then you wouldn't even have a furniture issue to begin with, because you probably would have put your drink away.
