I definitely got my money out of mine. Earnshaw's tests last semester had a bunch of questions that were just from the readings and not the lectures, so if you hadn't read it or didn't have a summary of each event you were screwed.

only change i would make is to allow more time for the exam's to be completed. i barely had time to put much effort into the essays.

hah our final was only about 38 multiple choice questions and no essays. Took me maybe 30 minutes. And 7-8 or those were on things that we hadn't even covered. We were all like wtf but apparently Earnshaw uses the same pool of questions each semester and we hadn't covered some of them. So we automatically started with a 15 or 20 before even answering any questions.

Haha, this community college across the street (where I get my internet too) has the book in their library as a reference book, so not only do I get to use it for free it can never leave!

Edit: I dunno if I should be posting this, but anyone understand what this weeks assignment is? I mean, I answered two questions (acid rain) but...yea, that's it. Seems too easy.

^I would assume next week, all week. I'm taking 402 DE with this guy too, and that's how our tests in that work.

And based on that course's first test, anyone here thinking they won't need the book for the 322 test is going to hate themselves come test time if they don't have it.

The last day to withdraw from a course was Wednesday. Go buy the book, because it's too late to drop the course if you fuck up on the midterm.

Among other things that I've heard: "Read the material beforehand, because if you don't, you won't know where to look up specific answers, and won't be able to complete the tests in time"

I finished that test with probably 10 seconds remaining . Of course, the fact that I wrote out an essay and then clicked a link to a completely different webpage (and in so doing deleting my essay) didn't help.

i actually thought it was pretty difficult the semester i took it.... he graded the group projects very strictly and the tests were really difficult as i had no clue what to study.... luckily if i showed up early on the day of a test someone would always come through with previous tests which were almost identical
