Heh, I've read a bunch of threads with this guy posting on S2ki. Nobody knows much about how the card handles yet. I believe he had to cut a structual brace to mount it, so the handling may be a little off. Fast as hell in a straight line though. Supra engine w/a single turbo.
1/10/2007 10:21:40 PM
i wonder what he's doing about transmission and rear diff?
1/10/2007 10:29:04 PM

woops, sorry! [Edited on April 4, 2007 at 8:47 PM. Reason : ]

I'm kinda dissapointed, I'd hoped they'd strip it more. It still has power mirrors, AC, and a radio, or at least they haven't gotten rid of them yet judging by all the controls.I think the main thing that makes it look ricey is the bodywork where the soft top used to be. It may be good for aerodynamics, but...ugh. They should've just stuck with the hardtop for aerodynamics anyways. And most of all: A club racer convertible with the same pathetically short roll bar?!? Come on! My head sticks 2 inches above that thing in my S2000!
4/4/2007 8:35:38 PM
club racer my butt.. that thing still will not pass tech for some road courses. even with the hard topyou would still need to put a bar.

Who lists a car on eBay, loads 16 pics, and doesn't pay the $.75 for the "supersize" option on the pics?
4/4/2007 8:52:28 PM
that guy
4/4/2007 8:56:19 PM
4/4/2007 10:09:10 PM
no matter how hard they try honda cannot build a car with soul i mean even there "super car" didn't have over 300hp
4/4/2007 10:10:47 PM
^ they are doing infinitely better than toyota!
4/4/2007 10:13:17 PM
they are in business of appealing to masses not wolfwebbers[Edited on April 4, 2007 at 10:14 PM. Reason : actully toyota finally growing some hair on their balls with cruiser and new camry and such]
4/4/2007 10:13:50 PM
no, Toyota is still as bland as ever.So you say Honda isn't in the business of appealing to people like "the garage". Well, lets look at companies that build competitors to the S2000. There was the BMW Z3. Replaced by the Z4. There was the Porsche Boxster. Its been updated countless times. There's the Nissan 350Z. Already been given one boost in hp. MB SLK, etc, etc.All those companies go for mass appeal too.
4/4/2007 10:21:14 PM
bmw, mb, and porche are appealing to niches. nissan is comparable and yes they been having a very strong lineup in the last few years
4/4/2007 10:49:42 PM
just shows what you can do when you have nearly unlimited cash (or unlimited willingness to go into debt) at your disposal
4/4/2007 10:56:58 PM
i'm sorry, but supra>>>nsx.
4/4/2007 11:01:03 PM
that's not much of a "club racer".
4/4/2007 11:13:28 PM
4/4/2007 11:29:00 PM
Only if I had 29k...
4/5/2007 12:44:14 AM
Does it come in automatic?
4/5/2007 12:52:50 AM
^^ You wouldn't need near that much for an S2000. You can get a used AP1 (00-02) for around $16k now from what I've heard. And a new one would be more than that, closer to $35k.^ SACRILEGE!
4/5/2007 6:35:10 AM
have you seen the supra concept?
4/5/2007 7:04:08 AM
my honda would fucking DUST that s2000...
