all i could find on google was how to install it, which i've already done

what do you need to do as far as installing everything? can you just pop the windows cd in and boot from it or something?

A word of advice. Create a small partition for your OS and anything you would want to back up. Partition the rest of the space for other applications. Back up your OS partition (also containing any software that takes a lot of time or effort to set up and drivers, which can be a pain in the ass) as soon as you're done installing it all. That way if you ever want to reinstall the system from scratch, you can just restore a backup which would take about a half hour (compared to the 2-4 hours to set up your system from scratch).
