3rd Annual February Fling

Its time for the third annual February Fling GTG at the Morris Costumes distribution warehouse in Charlotte, NC. Location is the same as last year. This is NOT any of the locations on Monroe Rd, it is located in the University area. There will not be an autocross for liability reasons, but this year it should be much bigger. We had to wait on the decided date because of Morris's expansion project onto the warehouse. Proceeds this year will go to the American Breast Cancer Society. This year we will have a pork BBQ pit on site.

We will use the same parking lot that we did last year. The large front lot is under construction for the new addition. There was talk of having the show indoors this year, but due to the recent rain, has pushed back the building’s completion date, so its outside. Hopefully we will luck out and have nice weather like we had the first year.
All vendors welcome, however encouraged to donate something for the raffle.

The night before, and the night after the event, there will likely be other GTG’s in the area, so stay tuned.

there was a supra, evo and a couple subbies at the last one...

the supra wrecked into a guard rail and cried about it cause he was still paying his daddy back from his last accident.

hahaha when we all pulled off to the side near salsbury i heard a traffic report about us.

i don't remember any groupss of 2-3 cars from the trip last year. seemed like we all stayed together fairly well to me until people started to break out of stop/go mode

i got the chip in my windshield on the way down the first year but it was pretty fun

last year i just didnt feel like walking around in that nasty weather, so here's to another weekend of sun and 75 degrees.

Meet at Parking Lot @ SouthPoint Mall in Durham in parking lot next to the Moovie Theater (bt the Sears and Theater) at 8:30am

I think there is going to be an earlier meet at Umstead Park (the Cary side off of Harrison Ave.) but an official time hasn't been posted. I would assume that it would be at 7:30 since we would need to leave shortly after 8 to make it to South Point by 8:30.
