so i just moved into a new apartment and i didnt even have it on what i considered loud but my upstairs chink came and said she had a baby and that it was loud, so i turned it down- only thing is i can barely hear it and i'm affraid of turning it up cause i dont feel like having chink lady come down and complain again. any of you had this problem and figure out practical(like suggestions that are actually helpful) ways to keep it at a reasonable volume?

Call Homeland Security, and tell them your chink neighbor is building bombs, and making anti-American sentiments.

Buy yourself a decent set of headphones for your computer, and tell her to deal if it is infrequent. Anything other than the computer which is causing issues?

Thank you for being a considerate person and turning it down. My neighbor has been playing the same beaner music cd at least once a week since he moved in over a year ago. My house is about 15 feet from his and his family room is right next to my bedroom so when he plays it the fucking bass rattles my wall. This isn't a problem during the day but it is a problem at 1:00 AM when I have to get up at 5:00 AM. So at 12:30 AM the other night I go over to ask him to turn it down. He gets all pissed and says he can play as loud as he wants since it's his house. His wife does turn it down a notch and they finally go to bed about 1:30. Oh it's go time now, cops are getting called every time from now on after 9:00 on a weeknight. So maybe your bass is what's bothering her, other than that sound deadening will get expensive and make your room look kinda wierd.try this link for products that may help, but since she's above you and not under you it may not helphttp://www.sweetwater.com/shop/studio/acoustic-treatment/[Edited on January 3, 2007 at 5:46 AM.
