yeah i hadnt came to a complete stop...motherfucker just shut off...could barely turn the wheel to get into a parking lot before i put it in park, turned the key to the off position, and then re-turned on the car, and it almost seemed like it wasnt going to restart either

next time stop before putting it in drive. exactly how fast were you going when you put it in drive?

that's due to the lack of power steering. normal when engine is not running.

hell, I've stalled an automatic quite a few times, and I've been driving since most everybody here was playing with their own doo doo in the bathtub.

I've also driven literally everything from motorcycles to Mack trucks. Shit happens, man, and quite frequently. Doesn't matter your skill level.

Shitbag.

all i know is that i need to stop making so many bad decisions in my life- i was definitely sober enough to drive- probably woulda blew like a .08 or so- but regardless it was dumb, and also i need to stop driving so recklessly- this honda has got to last me at least 24 more months...this was a sobering experience to say the least...from now on i'm gonna try to really think of every possible outcome, not just what i want to do, before i do something

Hey ZX, I'm sorry you're not intelligent enough to not stall an automatic.

Same goes for everyone else thats managed to do it.

And Corky, next time you drink heavily please make sure you do actually drive...right into a wall.

i'd say 4.8 miles or 8 minutes. whichever comes first.

it would have been fine if the weight hadn't been in there, oh well.
