I don't remember seeing this on here before, but if so... I'm sorry to repost! Today is the last day you can opt-in to have Food Lion donate to NCSU's Relay for Life each time you use your MVP card!

I just came home from a funeral for a 19 year old friend who passed away on the 28th from a rare form of double-lung cancer she was diagnosed with only a month ago. She was one of my younger sister's best friends.

Those of you who could take 30 seconds to register your MVP card to help Relay for Life work towards finding a cure for cancer would each hold a special place in my heart.

Here's the directions:
1. go to http://www.foodlion.com
2. find "in the community" on the left hand side of the page and click on "fundraising"
3. click "register MVP cards"
4. first you will have to select an organization, so hit "select organization" a new window will pop up and you will enter the state NC, city Raleigh, and find organization "NCSU Relay For Life" from the drop box. Hit OK
5. click "add MVP cards"
6. enter the information in and click next
7. it will show you the info you entered and then give you a choice to add another card or to finish.
8. when you are done adding all the cards hit finish and you're done!

Ok, update tonight... apparently you can continue to register throughout the year... from here on out new registrations may go to next year's Relay... or something to that extent... but still worth supporting nonetheless!!
