need at least a model number, better would be just the voltage/amps/watts on the power adapter itself

ok, specs I saw on the bottom of the laptop (if this helps)

Gateway

Model No: Solo 1450
Adapter ADP-60DH REV. B

dont know what that means

I'll check the adapter a little later - right now I've got it semi-working
