So I'm looking to upgrade and want some opinions:

Current setup:

AMD 64 3500 (2.25ghz, 939)
1 gig pc3200 ram
Nvidia 6600 GT

This has been a GREAT setup for the past 2 years.

Im trying to figure out what im going to allow as a budget for this...ideally cheap as possible for the biggest gain.

I would like to get a PCI-E card (7600/7900) but that would require me to get another motherboard, which would be another 75 bucks. bringing the total to somewhere over 200 dollars. I could keep the current proc. and upgrade to a dual core later.

I could always get another AGP card but as its not the industry standard anymore, id rather not.

Any input on nvidia VS ati in the 100-200 price range? Thoughts in general?
