Here we go again...70 in 55, heading west on 64, Wake county. Last Friday.Overcast but not raining, CLEAR road. Not hazardous at all. What are my chances of getting it reduced to something completely spurious (i.e. no insurance or license points), with and without a lawyer?EDIT: Also, I've already done driving school once, and I think I have two convictions (one's a 79/70, and one's a 74/65) for speeding on record already. I don't think a PJC has been tossed out, though.[Edited on December 27, 2006 at 11:00 PM. Reason : I'm a moron]

You need to tell us when you've gotten your previous tickets (within 3 years?) and if they were in NC. If they are both within 3 years and are in NC then you indeed are SOL and nobody can help you. Call up and ask the DA to reduce it. If he doesn't then try your PJC.

^Just like that? Call up the DA's office during the day and ask to get it reduced?Would that actually help me any on reducing insurance points?

Hopefully your PJC didnt occur within the past three years, or it will come back along with this one and your soooo SOL....[Edited on December 27, 2006 at 11:46 PM. Reason : w]
