Carolina players in the NFLPLEASE somebody find me an official list, i cant find one and some carolina asshole swears they have more players in the NFL then we do.
12/27/2006 1:31:40 AM
They do.
12/27/2006 1:33:18 AM

12/27/2006 1:39:26 AM
please somebody name all the startersi am too drunk to do it, but it came with at least 10 for us.
12/27/2006 1:41:38 AM
dude NC State has churned out NFL players for about 5 years now.UNC has been doing it for 15 years.Whatever bet you made, you lost.
12/27/2006 1:53:43 AM
Look for this guy to be wearing a unc-ch cheerleading outfit soon!
12/27/2006 1:59:42 AM
This is dumb comparing a football school's nfl prospects to a basketball school's. Thats just like comparing our nba players vs theirs. No contest either way. Might as well compare our nfl players to their nba players. That would make more sense.
12/27/2006 2:01:46 AM
unc has 26state has 19but i would bet more state players are currently starters than unc-ch^since when are we a football school? how many national championships do we have in football?[Edited on December 27, 2006 at 2:03 AM. Reason : .]
12/27/2006 2:02:09 AM
well the guy that made the bet is the most typical wal-mart fan you'll ever meet. he goes to ecu but he comes over tonight wearing a unc fleece he had to have bought at wal mart.[Edited on December 27, 2006 at 2:05 AM. Reason : douche bag tool]
12/27/2006 2:04:51 AM
That shows he's a dumbass.. If he goes to ezu he should be riding your ass about them beating State in football this year...
12/27/2006 2:05:49 AM
Just remind him that no UNC QB has ever taken a snap as a starter in the NFL. But he's right, they do have more players in the NFL than us. That'll change in a few years though.
12/27/2006 2:14:32 AM

Reason : all this based on ESPN.com's depth charts (could be slightly off)]
12/27/2006 3:05:52 AM
i thought oliver hoyte caused a tiki barber fumble earlier this year
12/27/2006 3:12:02 AM
^^That's a garbage list, because ^ he's right. Oliver Hoyte starts and plays FB for the Dallas Cowboys.Brian Clark also starts as a KR.Alvis Whitted plays, but I don't think he starts. And McCargo would be 2nd String or starter if he didn't get placed on IR.[Edited on December 27, 2006 at 3:32 AM. 12/27/2006 3:31:03 AM
^^^ greg ellis was a starter before he tore his achilles this season
12/27/2006 3:50:59 AM
also forgot bobby blizzard(unc), playin for the Ravensthats gotta be the most half assed list[Edited on December 27, 2006 at 4:23 AM. Reason : .]
12/27/2006 4:22:35 AM
willie parker denies all connections with UNC.
12/27/2006 4:31:11 AM
as pointed out, our players who "don't play" are actually just injured or do infact play.[Edited on December 27, 2006 at 4:50 AM. Reason : ]

12/27/2006 8:50:52 AM
touche
12/27/2006 8:59:33 AM
the real comparison is how well NCSU NFL players do compared to UNC players...I guarantee NCSU FTW
12/27/2006 12:59:22 PM
i am afraid you would be wrong.UNC has more of a history, we just started sending playersPeppersEllisCrumplerParker$profit[Edited on December 27, 2006 at 1:04 PM. Reason : w]
12/27/2006 1:03:58 PM
^no offense but every one of those players can be trumped by an NCSU name
12/27/2006 1:10:48 PM
^As far as position-by-position,Peppers is better than any defensive player we've put in the league (at least right now, Manny could change that)Crumpler is a far better TE than any we've fieldedWillie Parker is better than any RB from NCSU(but he doesn't really count since he disavowed going to UNC)Jeff Reed is far better than the cavalcade of shit kickers we've had for the last eonOn the flip side,UNC has NEVER had a quarterback half as good as Philip RiversThey have NEVER had a receiver half as good as Torry HoltCotchery is also better than any receiver they've got in the league right now.Locklear is the best OL from either school(to be fair, he does get to play with Walter Jones)
12/27/2006 1:21:59 PM
UNC has NEVER had a quarterback half as good as Philip Rivers
12/27/2006 1:29:40 PM
my mistake, thanks for the correction
12/27/2006 1:30:04 PM
Scott Kooistra FTW
12/27/2006 2:32:01 PM
The lists on this thread don't include Koren Robinson either. He is also better than any of UNC's receivers.
12/27/2006 2:34:31 PM
Did any of you guys watch college football in 1997, or did it start 3 years ago? That UNC defense has like 8 out of 11 that have played in the NFL, and I think half still start in 06, along with three that start from their 01 defense. This is why our fanbase is referred to as delusional, we have 3 drafted and everyone thinks we're the new Miami. And give it some time before we anoit Rivers the next Montana, and Lawson the next Peppers. They have us in football too, hate to tell ya. Wideout is the only thing we have on them. In the next 3 to 4 years I think we can make up some substantial ground though in other areas.[Edited on December 27, 2006 at 2:35 PM. Reason : .][Edited on December 27, 2006 at 2:37 PM. Reason : .]
12/27/2006 2:34:37 PM
ha jmartin's list is retarded, for reasons already mentioned.and Dovonte Edwards doesn't play because he got hurt verrrrrrrrry early this year, he took a favre pick back for 6 last year[Edited on December 27, 2006 at 4:26 PM. Reason : fds]
12/27/2006 4:25:37 PM
You might want to go check your stats before spouting off that we have never feilded a TE better than Alge "I drop balls all season" Crumpler. TJ Williams had better stats all three of the years he started than Alge. Over 3 seasons he averaged over 400 yards and 30 receptions. Compare that to any of Alge's season at CH.
12/27/2006 4:30:10 PM
He's clearly talking about NFL production. I mean TA was far better in college than Fast Willie but I don't think that really says too much about their NFL careers.[Edited on December 27, 2006 at 4:34 PM. Reason : hell so was Ray Robinson for christs sake..]

12/27/2006 5:24:56 PM
ok that article aside, ethan albright does play, he's the long snapper and has been for yearsand ronald curry's a starter?!
12/27/2006 5:28:19 PM
12/27/2006 5:35:59 PM
^^ Curry just had a 100 yard receiving game. With Whitted out and Porter not playing he has started. He is a pretty damn good WR if he can stay healthy...
12/27/2006 5:37:45 PM
Jtmartin, don't be mad because you don't shit about whats going on with our guys.
12/27/2006 6:16:51 PM

12/27/2006 7:53:51 PM
