Duke with 10%2. UNC with 5%3. UCLA with 2.8%4. Kentucky with 2.3%these numbers are not 100% correct as i cant remember the exact %s but its pretty damn close.i figured the WalMart Nation would have pulled in the number 1 spot[Edited on December 22, 2006 at 9:06 AM. those do however make sense

^^ you gotta remember, a lot of the walmart nation part of UNC fans either don't have, can't afford, or don't know how to use a computer. they do however know that walmart has been rolling back prices on their favorite powder blue merchandise, and they have a 2-for-1 sale on wife-beater tank tops![Edited on December 22, 2006 at 9:27 AM. and dont act like duke doesnt have a huge walmart nation behind it too
12/22/2006 9:31:28 AM
It's not a Walmart nation Duke has...rather a traditional bandwagon.I very rarely see white trailer trash people in Dukie gear.
12/22/2006 9:34:51 AM
Also, Duke's fan base is based in New York and New Jersey as was witnessed last night during their home game at MSG, Walmart happens to be comprised more of the redneck variety.[Edited on December 22, 2006 at 9:46 AM. Reason : .]

^^ holy shit, then you need to come to Kenly
12/22/2006 9:44:09 AM
If I knew where fucking Kenly was, I'd do it.Ok, so maybe fucking Kenly has trailer trash Duke fans. That however pales in comparison to THE Walmart Nation.Duke has bandwagon fans, like any school, but much, much less fans who wear that shit because it's fashionable, hip, or cool.

so is D00K the Target Nation

My Dad never got a chance to go to college, he pulls for who he pulls for because he used to see them play when he was little, i dont consider him a walmart fan... he didnt get the opportunity to "have" a school its not really fair to call everyone that
12/22/2006 10:05:40 AM
everyone has a chance to go to school depending on how hard they work and how bad they want to go IMOthere are a few circumstances that fit the "no opportunity" debate
12/22/2006 11:23:14 AM
^I agree. Especially these days.Plus, Fuck Carolina.
12/22/2006 11:26:07 AM

12/22/2006 11:34:21 AM
typical walmart fan== a couple of years ago i was moving in to an apartment in huntsville and saw a guy wearing a unc sweatshirt and cap. I said "hey, you go to UNC? I just moved from NC" "Nope, I just liked the color of the shirt"

the only thing that can stop a kid from going to college is himself or $$, and even without $$ they can do it if they work extremely hard

yepmy parents could not afford to send me to school. i had partial schollys and loans pay my way and now im almost done paying the loans[Edited on December 22, 2006 at 1:29 PM. Reason : d]

Ok, not everyone has an opportunity to go to UNC, NCSU, or Duke. You have to be somewhat intelligent. For this reason there are NCA&T, UNC-A, UNC-G, etc. Would you pull for their basketball teams?
