Because we all know those bums won't win another game...So where do you think they'll fall in the draft and who will they try to get?
12/17/2006 3:44:54 PM
Troy Smith if they're smart
12/17/2006 3:45:37 PM
they need to find a Run gameplain and simpleand a QB wouldnt hurt
12/17/2006 3:46:59 PM
12/17/2006 3:48:22 PM
joe thomas (OT) or troy smith
12/17/2006 3:52:01 PM
we need to reload at linebacker, we cant stop fucking anybody
12/17/2006 3:52:32 PM
yeah, DeAngelo will be the run game. We need the O-Line. And a QB for the future.
12/17/2006 3:53:33 PM
FIRE DAN HENNING
12/17/2006 3:53:34 PM
12/17/2006 3:54:20 PM
how long is keyshawn gonna stick around?a good tight end in the middle rounds might help.
12/17/2006 3:54:31 PM
They've got Jeff King, the rookie TE from VT. He'll be good as he gets some experience. An O-line is a mustDid any of the rest of yall just see that stat about Wienke having the second longest losing streak in NFL history (since the merger in '70 at least)17 games.....[Edited on December 17, 2006 at 3:57 PM. Reason : stat]

Ive got it figured out.The panthers need to draft a new medical team in the first round. Second round get a new strength coach.
12/17/2006 4:00:20 PM
nah, 7-9 sounds good, a win over N.O. just to show we had the ability to sweep the division champ, and that things could have been different
12/17/2006 4:11:01 PM
^coupled with an oh so predictable loss to the falcons
12/17/2006 4:13:32 PM
I'd rather they beat Atlanta to keep them out of the playoffs, but with they way they're playing they couldn't beat Detroit. It doesn't matter if they win out from here, they don't hold a tiebreaker against ANYONE.
12/17/2006 4:22:38 PM
the offense is pathetic, but the defense needs serious work.

12/17/2006 5:13:09 PM
what a bunch of chumps
12/17/2006 5:46:32 PM
other than out offensive line, quarterback, te, linebackers, secondary, the panthers have a pretty good team
12/17/2006 5:51:05 PM
i dont think our TE situation is that bad, we just dont utilize em, so you'd never know how good they are. king could be an adequate te, as could michael gaines in my opinion. i dont think mangum is really worth keepin.[Edited on December 17, 2006 at 5:59 PM. Reason : .]

When Henning was asked last year about picking up a TE early in the draft he said they had no need for a big-time receiving TE. He said his offense is geared towards a blocking TE and doesn't really need a receiving TE. So...yeah, fire Henning, haha.Needs:OL - first and foremostQB - need one. Troy Smith has a cannon but I doubt we'll get the chance to pick him up.LB - we screwed up last season. We should have let Morgan go and kept Witherspoon. I don't know what our front office was thinking there. This is how I expect our draft to go:1st Round - LB2nd Round - OL3rd Round - OL4th Round - back-up QB5th Round and Up - Best Available, maybe a Kicker, and/or a bunch of defensive guysI expect we'll go after a QB in free-agency or look to trade. If we don't trade Delhomme, he'll be the back-up, the QB we get in the draft will become the #3, and Weinke will be done.[Edited on December 17, 2006 at 6:10 PM. Reason : .]

Yes AndyMac Ive been screaming for Brian Brohm. He is the real deal. Think how much a good QB would help the running game.If they go linebacker, Posluzny or however it is spelled from Penn State would be kickass.

the underperformance of the Action Cats, the Seahawks, the Skins; and outstanding performance of the Chargers and several other teams have underscored to me the importance of solid o-lines - - this "nderperformance" is relative to the potential in offensive paymakers, and includes the fact that some of these weak o-lines have let their key playmakers get hurt.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2701282and it just gets worse and worse.....i would hate to never see rucker in a panthers uniform again
12/18/2006 2:33:53 PM
Brady Quinn, Chris Leak, or Troy Smith as Jake's backup-period.
12/18/2006 10:19:04 PM
well in the current mock draft they have us taking an LB
12/18/2006 11:34:00 PM
I just looked at another Mock Draft that had us taking Brohm at 11.

Rucker production has been slipping anyways, he is getting old, will take at least a year to recover....need to find a young replacement...his career is probably over...if he was like 4 years younger he might be able to bounce back from such a severe injury.
12/19/2006 4:06:20 PM
the only problem with takeing Leak is he has every tool to be a great pocket passer .. which would be disasterous behind a terrible offensive line.
12/19/2006 4:12:02 PM
12/21/2006 3:29:29 PM
^ahahahahpanthers need - OL, LB/QB/RB, secondary, TE, DL WRin that order, ol most wr not really
12/22/2006 9:02:49 AM
a 6-10 season will make a hell of a Christmas gift
