Another method is using a cell phone jammer that emits a jamming signal up to 50 or so feet depending on the strength. I tried to make one myself but never could get it to work fully. It would cause static and echoing but that was it. I didn't know enough about electronics to get mine working. Two friends of mine both use theirs whenever their's an idiot in front.Against, peoples concerns, noone has ever wrecked, most people just put down their phones and focus on driving. I wish they were legal. I can't count the number of times the bad driver in front of me was yapping away on a cellphone while a long line of people behind them just waits and honks horns. It's sad that even now, that you can be fined up to $500 for using a cellphone while driving (if you're causing traffic issues) isn't enough to stop peoplen from driving and talking. Albeit most younger drivers don't seem to have any trouble doing this (usually)... it's mostly the older crowd and in my experience (no offense ladies) it's women in huge SUVS.

Raige, that cellphone jammer sounds like the type of thing that would give you testicle cancer. It's not your business to regulate other people's phone calls. You could fuck up a very serious call and I have to wonder what it is doing to other nearby electronic devices. You'll probably kill some old man's pacemaker and he won't be able to call 911.

Incident On 12/19/06 at 5:30 PM on Sligh Ave & 56th ST, a female driving heeded all rules of the road and was very courteous to other drivers! Great job!
12/19/2006 7:23:51 PM
^^ If a cellphone won't mess up a pacemaker, it's unlikely a jammer would mess up a pacemaker. And no one's phone call is important enough for them to drive like an idiot while making it.
