as far as theory goes, 435 was by far the hardest course I had to take. I highly recommend that you DO NOT TAKE THIS ONLINE

I'll have to take this eventually, from the course description would it be wiser to take EE331 beforehand or does it not matter? What in particular is so tough with this class?

ee 331 would help you with maybe the second day of class when you go over dynamic system modeling, more specifically electrical systems. but thats really like 0.2% of the class.

for 331 and 435 you need to know basic complex number algebra, so, taking 331 before 435 could help in that regard i guess

There isn't too much that would help you with 435. If any class will help you, it would be 405 (like the first 2 labs). That would help you understand PID controllers and what each component does

Damn, googling up some of those terms looks interesting but quite a bitch to comprehend. So this will be definitely be taken with easier classes in a semester. Thanks.

This is a very design intensive class. There are many ways of achieving a design that works. For example, designing a lead or lag compensator, there isn't just one right answer. Besides the fact that the theory is fairly difficult, if you don't stay on top of the reading or you don't spend large amounts of time on the homework, you'll find yourself behind and the theory builds on itself all the way through the course.

Buckner is supposedly the best teacher for this class during the regular semester. during the summer session, Ro is the best. taking it online is just asking for trouble.

Kinko's are being jerks, and haven't sent me the lecture notes yet.

What is the LCRR circuit look like on page II.22 in the notes? I need it for the Hw.
