Does CSC 316 count as a major class? ie. would it count in with your major GPA?

No...only required classes with the ECE prefix count towards your major GPA. (i.e. ECE200, ECE206, ECE211, ECE212, ECE220, ECE301, etc.)

easy way to find out whether a course counts towards your major GPA is if there's a M next to the course in your degree audit..
