I got new tires on the bike and now it seems to whine with pitch varying with speed, is that just because the tires or new, or should I be worried at all?

no worries, but check your torque settings on the axle bolts JIC unless you know for sure its coming from the tires

Im honestly not srue where its coming from but the only change was getting the new tires. I had them done at North raleigh Cycles, the guy seemed pretty knowlegable.

Its only happens since i got new tires, so I suspect that has something to do with it, i guess it could be the bearings, and ill relube the chain.

Make sure to check the tension on the chain. I doubt lubing it will make a difference but it won't hurt.
