there's something in Cary ... I think they call it Tinsel Town ... I remember someone saying something about outdoor ice skating, if you like that sort of thing (I personally hate ice skating )

You could go to a ballet production - "The Nutcracker" is at the Progress Energy Center through December 23...

me and the gf went last year to the Nutcracker ballet and it was soooo boring, unless you and/or her are big ballet or Nutcracker enthusiasts I wouldnt recommend goingI've been to plays before and they were a lot of fun, but the Nutcracker was lame

hahaI BARELY got tickets to the TSO concert 2 days after they went on sale. I got 4 AMAZING SEATS. Right behind the mixing console, on the first level. (for us audiophiles, that's where you want to sit-- right behind where they tune the sound for the venue)I was about to settle for a side section and the ticket lady was like OH Wait!! Here's four in a row! hot double date

umm, congrats? good to know that you got tickets, even though it has nothing to do with this thread topic

Tinsel town is ok...I wouldnt do it for a 2 year anniversary though. There's nothing to look at (decoration wise)...and the outdoor skating rink is VERY VERY small. They allow too many people in the rink at one time and it's just a clusterfuck in general. You're constantly having to avoid little 2 year olds skating around with while scooting around with buckets. In summary, it's fun, but definately not "nice".

ah, sorry, I'm just excited about it-- been looking forward to it since last year's TSO concert let out. haha. They're great shows. That being said, I would just do something you both enjoy, but maybe dress up a bit-- don't overcomplicate it-- just do a nice dinner and a show somewhere.

I bought my TSO tickets on November 25th. Granted they are not the best, but I will be present so that is all that matter. These tickets went on sale late October, and now they are sold out.
