does location matter to you? are you trying to stay under a certain price range? are you looking for more of a student enviornment?

This will help with our suggestions

the place next door has been called ghetto at times (the other side is another student place). i lived there for 2 years and never had an issue walking around at night or having my car broken into.

Camdens I think are pretty nice, usually not located in the ghetto.

God bless Raleigh. I just moved back from the DC area where my 1 bedroom apartment was $1000 a month.

I'm paying 611/month in Dominion at Walnut Creek, but I've got a pretty large one bedroom. Neighbors are decent, but if I had it to do again I'd probably stay in Cary where I could get a little nicer place for the same or less. I just didn't have a lot of time to find a 1-bedroom when I was moving. I found after the fact about several nice places with 1 bedroom for less than 600.
