"ESPN and ABC will televise soccer's 2008 European Championship under an agreement announced Friday by the Union of European Football Associations.

All 31 games will be televised in the United States: two by ABC and the rest by ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPN Classic. The tournament will be played in Austria and Switzerland from June 7-29."

thats awesome if youre a soccer fan...not quite like the world cup but should be good soccer.

Good. Much better than poker or regular season baseball. After the nba and nhl end there is nothing going on in American sports.

finally, ive seen so many great highlights from past euro championships and pay per view was the only way to get games...this makes waiting for the world cup every 4 years much easier
