I've been toying with the idea of getting remote start on my truck. What are the negatives of doing this besides leaving it unattended and running . Is it difficult to install? and what is a good brand name for a remote start system along with the price range. Any feedback from someone that already has it is appreciated.

you can leave it running with the doors wide open and not have any issues, any good system will have theft prevention built in

most will cutoff as soon as you step on the brake without the key in the ignition, so you can leave it unattended as long as you want
