No. Samsung PWNS.

Samsung doesn't PWN, but for those models (non-XBR Sony), the Samsung will be a little better. The Sony still has a better black level, but it has a bit more ghosting than the Samsung.

Samsung LCD? or DLP?

PS, what % of the price is 300? are we talking 600 vs 900? or 2600 vs. 2900? By not listing this, I'm led to believe you've already decided upon Samsung... so go Samsung
12/9/2006 11:40:57 PM
a 46" xbr LCD probably costs something around $4k so the 300 is probably somewhere around 7-9%

XBRs are really really nice....however if you can't justify paying the extra for the brand name just go with the Samsung.Doubt anyone would notice a difference

ok someone see if they can find this but i think xbr 2 & 3 can use UNCOMPRESSED 1080p signals where the samsung cannot.if anyone with a little more knowledge on the subject could interject it would be appreciated.and its 3300 vs 3600[Edited on December 11, 2006 at 7:33 AM. Reason : .]
