I aready have the tires, but no centerstand, anybody have any suggestions on where to get my new tires mounted (prefer to drive up bike and have them take off the old wheels and put on the new. I know cyclegear will do it but they wont take the old ones off. Any suggestions on where to go? I dont mind paying a few more dollars for convienience. However, if anybody has a centerstand (or knows where i can get one really cheap) and is willing to make sure i dont screw this up (and wouldnt mind drinking a little beer), i might just use cyclegear.

static balance only.. if i get a hold of some stick-on wheel weights.if you want, i can take the wheels off the bike for you and you can get the tires installed and balanced at cycle gear or elsewhere. i will take the wheels off and put em back on for 40.does cycle gear even have a wheel balancer?[Edited on December 6, 2006 at 10:48 AM. Yea they do, that puts me over the cost elsewhere, im kinda worried about it because im switching tire sizes. Anybody know anyplace that does cheap powdercoating?

holy fuck what is 230/20? a fuckin rubber band? ive seen 200 series tires on tunas before (they had to put taller ones to make it fit on the narrow rim) and they look like tractor tires (200/60?) why in the fuckin world would you want a 230 series rear tire on a slow ass tuna. not like you are lackin traction or anything. it will just fuck up yor handling yeah that sounds better. make sure they are not too tall though100 is fine for the front, i would think 120 might be a lil wide[Edited on December 6, 2006 at 11:32 AM. stock was 140 rear 110 on front, the katana forum suggested 150 120 in the metzeler Z6 was a good combo for handling and mileage so i went with that.

I'd suggest you invest in getting a pair of stands. Either that or some concrete blocks and 2x12's for a ghetto way to do it. There used to be a shop in Charlotte that sold front and rear stands for 125-150 shipped.
