Has anyone ever gone to this Jingle Ball thing before?

I was invited to be someone's date. I was wondering if I needed to get liquored up beforehand in order to endure it, or if they provide enough drinks to make it tolerable. All the site says is "come eat, drink, dance and be merry".

I worked at it last year
