Just got an engagment ring, would like to have it insured against theft, any recommendations

they offer it on renter's insurance as well, i use state farm for my renters and car insurance, and i get a discount for multiple policies that basically covers the renter's insurance

i just bought one too. you can do it through your bank with "valuable property insurance". i pay about 89 bucks a year for a 9000 ring.

Get a state farm personal articles policy. I have a $15000 ring set and for $147 a year, it covers ANYTHING for both rings...stones falling out, ring going down the drain, it getting stolen or lost...ANYTHING.They'll just cut me a check for the appraised value or will pay to have stones replaced or whatever.[Edited on November 30, 2006 at 7:11 PM. ^ exactly correct - the girl's ring is on the renter's insurance - i think you'll spend roughly 1% of the total cost per year on insurance for it

schedule it on your homeowners or renters insurance, make sure it covers mysterous( sp?) dissapearance.
